ARTIST INFORMATION:
Daniel Scott Gabriel Murray
Daniel Scott Gabriel Murray was born in Ohio in the early 1960's and landed in Maine sometime around 1965. A retired full time law enforcement officer of 23 years he is currently working as a DC Comics artist. He also works for a number of studios, software and gaming companies such as DC Comics, covers for Lucasfilm publications, Upper Deck Entertainment, Inner Kingdom Games [Shadowfist], TUL Studios and Seed Studios in Taiwan, Smith-Micro [Poser] and Atlantis Studios.
During his law enforcement career Murray honed his art skills working as an illustrator on the side which paid off when his big break came while attending a convention he shared his work with a DC Comics editor. His reputation and popularity then began to grow as he used light and color creating his own style of illustration setting his style apart from the norm.After completing a series of DC Trading cards, he was tasked with assisting in the creation of marketing materials for DC Comics licensed products.
